Felix served as an educator in the Ministry of Education for 16 years. He has held management positions as a Discipline Master and a School Staff Developer during his teaching career with 3 secondary schools in Singapore. Felix graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver Canada in 1996.
As a Physical Education Teacher, Felix loves to interact with the students in his school by inculcating values through the appreciation of sports and games. He believes that our youth of today is full of potential. They are in need of a mentor to speak words of inspiration and affirmation into their lives.
In Covenant EFC since 1997, Felix serves as a Zone Mentor to Cell Groups as well as being a Host Master for the Sunday Service Teams for their Worship Services. He is married to Pastor Sharon Fong and has 2 boys, Caleb and Joshua.
Steve has 20 years of experience in the chemicals industry, holding various commercial and management roles in MNC's such as Dow Chemical, HB Fuller, Rohm & Haas. Prior to joining NLCS, he was the Business Director for South East Asia for HB Fuller. Steve graduated with a degree in Bachelors of Technology from Science University of Malaysia in 1997. Steve is married to Adelene and they both serve as pre-marital counsellors and leaders of a young adults’ cell group in Covenant EFC.
Eddy has over 20 years of HR experience in multiple industries. He has worked in Keppel Shipyard, Singapore Management University, WR Grace and Ingersoll Rand. Prior to joining NLCS, he was the Head of HR, APAC for National Instruments. Eddy holds a Master degree in HR & Global Leadership from Baruch College (City University of New York) and Bachelor of Arts in Southeast Asian Studies from National University of Singapore. He is married to Sheryl Low and has 2 children – Caceres and Feliz. As a family, they worship in Covenant EFC. Eddy is involved with Missions, and is currently serving in church as a Bi-vocational Missionary.
Edwin is passionate in his work with the youth-at-risk and has counselled youths under the Enhanced Step-Up Programme. He also has experience in the Reformative Training Centre group work, individual case management and family work, mentoring older youths who have committed crimes and focusing on getting them back on track. At the New Life Youth Hub, Edwin is involved in mentoring, facilitation of workshops, curriculum planning and small group facilitation. Edwin graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and holds a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from the Singapore University of Social Sciences. Edwin is currently worshipping at Covenant Evangelical Free Church.
Janice joined Ministry of Social and Family Development as a caseworker in Singapore Boy's Home after graduating with Social Work degree in 1997. She had rehabilitation and operations experience as Superintendent of Singapore Boys' Home and Head of Learning Centre and programmes for Singapore Boy's Complex. In 2012, she was a senior manager of programme branch and subsequently seconded to Social Service Institute to do sector training in children and youth risk assessment tools and audit of children and young person's home for casework care plan and intervention implementation. Janice is married to Julian and they have a 15-year-old son named Joshua. Their family worship in True Grace Presbyterian Church. Janice serves in the worship team, teaches Sunday school to Primary 4 to 6 and special needs youths, and supports her husband in the elderly ministry.
Prior to joining New Life, Zoe was the Head of Finance for Big Heart Student Care. She also had past corporate experiences with MNCs such as Sony Computer, Walsin Technology and Ariba Inc. She holds a professional degree from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She’s married to Jeremy and they have three teens named Chloe, Joshua and Hannah. They worship at Deeper Life Christian Centre and serve through hosting weekly cell groups for youth groups and young families’ groups.
Joserine served in a Christian non-profit sector and was responsible for partners and corporate development prior to joining New Life. A holder of Masters in Distributed Systems from the University of Kent at Canterbury, United Kingdom, she also spent 16 years in consulting and presales roles. In 2014, she was a ministry intern in IDMC Institute in Covenant EFC. Joserine is married to Alex, and they worship and serve in Covenant EFC as volunteers in Families-in-Covenant, prayer intercessors ministry and children ministry.
